Whether you’ve visited the Ozarks before or are being introduced for the first time, we want to make sure you know what Springfield has to offer! There are a few places that we’d recommend for your food and lodging that would make your experience all the more enjoyable here, including two hotels, one close to James River Freeway and another closer to I-44.
If you are coming from the southeast, you probably took James River Freeway. Near that highway, Springfield features a Hilton Garden Inn approximately 2 miles away from Battlefield Mall and closer to larger food chains such as Chili’s, T.G.I. Friday’s and Cheddar’s.
However, if you are visiting us from the north or west, you likely found yourself coming down I-44. A DoubleTree Hotel sits a short way south on Glenstone (exit 80), which is about 4 miles away from downtown Springfield, where you will find a plethora of local shopping and restaurants such as Springfield Brewing Co., Nonna’s Italian Cafe and Aviary Cafe and Creperie!
